Greetings to you in the name of our Lord, Jesus Christ!
Thank you for visiting Mount Olive Lutheran Church on the Web! If you live in the Houston area,
or plan to travel to Houston, I want to extend a personal invitation to join us for worship on Sunday.
You will find a warm and friendly welcome waiting for you each time you visit. I am now starting my 21st
year of ministry at Mount Olive. It has been and is a joy to serve God's people here, and others who find a
way to visit us. I am available by appointment for personal pastoral counseling any time night or day.
Mount Olive is served also by our Associate Pastor, Reverend Bob Sweet.
Pastor Sweet has been an Ordained Pastor in our Synod a number of years. Currently, he has a full time position
as a NASA engineer, but he assists with various assignments on a part time basis.
As a part of our worship experience, Pastor Sweet and I work to provide timely messages from the Word
of God that you can use in your daily life.
